Chamaedora Palm Plant -
The Chamaedorea palm, a small, compact, typically single-trunked palm, is one of the most popular indoor gardening plants for sunny interior spaces. Its attractive, arching, green pinnate leaves, with 12 or more pairs of short leaflets per leaf, add a touch of the tropics to indoor settings.
If there is enough light, springtime blooms of loose spirals of golden flowers are possible. Plants have two sexes. The sheath is 8-20 cm long, extremely obliquely open nearly to the base, tubular only in the lower third, and has a small ligule on either side of the petiole. The leaves are 5-8, spreading, and pinnate.
