    Mangodi, also known as Moong Dal Vadi, is a traditional Indian condiment made from lentils. Let me break it down for you :  

     

    Preparation : To make mangodi, yellow moong dal (split yellow lentils) is soaked in water for 6-8 hours. After soaking, it’s ground into a paste with spices (usually without adding water). The resulting mixture is shaped into small round nuggets.

    Drying Process : These nuggets are then sun-dried for about 2 days. The drying process gives them a firm texture and preserves them for later use.
