Lemons can be grown in all types of soils. Light soils having good drainage are suitable for its cultivation. Light loam well drained soils are best for lemon cultivation. The lemon is a species of small evergreen trees in the flowering plant family Rutaceae. Lemons are a refreshing fruit usually not eaten whole but rather as a garnish or flavoring.
