After getting checked for blemishes and black spots, the lemons are then washed,dried and sliced using disinfected utensils. The lime juice is squeezed in a bowl, removing the seeds, which is added to the pickle at a later stage. Innate desi ingredients are amalgamated with the sliced limes to give them a combination of sweet, sour and salty savor. The pickle is then preserved in “martabans” (as introduced to us by our dadis) under the warmth of the sun to give it the favor8 combination of flavours.
